Causes
- Oral injuries
- Stress
- Endocrine dyscrasia
- Immune system disease
- Gastrointestinal disorder
- Deficiency in vitamin B12, folic acid and iron
- Unfit denture
Treatment
- Avoid touching the ulceration while brushing teeth or eating
- Avoid hard, hot and spicy foods
- Avoid drinking alcohol
- Apply ointment prescribed by doctor or dentist to relief pain
